In 1992, Doug Lackey and Kent Loehrke founded Mortgage Data Management Corporation (MDMC) in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Both veterans of Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Corp. (MGIC), Doug and Kent identified a need in the mortgage industry for advisory services dedicated to the provision of mortgage loan delivery services, mortgage servicing due diligence analysis and mortgage data integrity analysis services. The firm quickly expanded to include underwriting due diligence and professional staffing services.

During MDMC's 18 years of operation, the Company expanded from a boutique advisory firm to the second leading provider of due diligence services in the country. Its personnel swelled to over 400 professionals in 2005. The mortgage loan delivery services developed into the top provider of delivery services, recommended by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae. MDMC's strong relationships and reputation for service excellence propelled it to the forefront of mortgage advisory firms.

MDMC's proven methodologies and its ability to adapt to ever-changing market conditions were keys to its success during its 18 year history. In continuance of their goal to consistently add value for their clients, Doug and Kent recognized in 2009 that an integration of MDMC's due diligence division with Opus Capital Markets Consultants, LLC (Opus CMC) would be advantageous. MDMC had maintained a strategic partnership for years with Opus CMC and MDMC's founders believed that the combination of the two firms' expertise, seasoned staff and technology would add great value for MDMC's clients. The mortgage loan due diligence division was acquired by Opus CMC in June 2009.

MDMC, under the leadership of Doug Lackey and Kent Loehrke, continued to operate from June 2009 through January 2010, specializing in mortgage loan security and delivery services, mortgage servicing acquisition due diligence analysis services, and professional staffing services. During this time, MDMC completed a multi-million dollar loan delivery to Ginnie Mae, further enhancing its mortgage loan delivery and securitization services.

In January 2010 MDMC announced that its Agency Delivery Services, Servicing Acquisition Due Diligence Services and Professional Staffing Services product lines were acquired by Mortgage Delivery Specialists LLC (MDS). Kent Loehrke serves as the founder and principal of MDS. Doug Lackey joins Kent at MDS as Managing Director. Additionally, key members of the acquired product lines join Kent and Doug at MDS.
